Council gave second & third reading to Bylaw 19-827 County of Grande Prairie-M.D of Greenview Intermunicipal Collaborative Framework.
Policy 4022 Commercial Waste Bins
Council approved the Commercial Waste Bins policy as presented.
Grande Cache Business Retention and Expansion Action Plan – Internet Service Delivery
Council authorized Administration to work with interested internet providers to develop a report outlining the options available for potential internet service delivery to the MD of Greenview.
Proposed Recreation Area at the Narrows
Council directed Administration to investigate the feasibility and cost of upgrading the existing facility at NE 33 70 24 W5M. Council directed Administration to investigate the feasibility of all recreation potential on Greenview lands within the Narrows.
Boss Bridgeworks Inc.
Council approved Administration to award BF71667 to Boss Bridgeworks Inc. in the amount of $144,450.00, with funding to come from the 2019 Capital Budget.
Conditions of three-digit provincial roads
That Council direct Administration to investigate, with Alberta Transportation, the conditions of three-digit provincial roads in Greenview and possible solutions.
Grande Cache Minutes
Council accepted the minutes of the December 12, 2018 Grande Cache Council Meeting for information as presented. With the dissolution of Grande Cache as of January 1, 2019, the final meeting minutes of the Town of Grande Cache have not been adopted or approved. To rectify this, Administration contacted municipal affairs for direction. A member of the viability review team recommended that Council accept the minutes for information.
Philip J Currie Dinosaur Sponsorship
Council approved to sponsor three tables of eight of $3,500 per table, with funds to come from the 2019 Community Services Miscellaneous Grants.
Louis Delorme Memorial Sponsorship
Council approved a donation of $5,000.00 to the Louie Delorme Memorial Committee, with funds to come from the 2019 Community Services Miscellaneous Grants.
Council will take no action with regard to purchasing Hide-A-Way Camp.
Unless otherwise specified, all meetings (except FCSS meetings) take place in the Council Chambers at the Administration Building in Valleyview beginning at 9:00 am. Committee of the Whole Meetings begin at 10:00 a.m. ASB and FCSS meetings begin at 9:30 a.m. FCSS meetings take place at the Green View Community Resource Centre.
